It is half a year into 2009. My goal is to become an independent trader by 2015. Am I drawing nearer to this target?
For shares trading, in order to be the right track, I need to consistently attain a 10% compounded monthly interest, to reach $8,858 by year end. Is this attainable? Well, yes, but I have to work very hard. My past few trades were botch trades (Sino, ASL, Swissco and Capitaland). I have to trade very precisely from now on. Currently, I am about $4,000 from it.
For forex trading, I am now just beginning to "play bigger", as I come out from a learning stage. However, for all core and swing trades, I still have a year end target profit of $1,700 to achieve. Currently, very far from it.
For intra-day trades (forex only), it seems my trades have come to a total stand still. However, they are still important since they allow me to form a critical opinion of the makets. I do not currently have any profit targets for this segment of trading, but all trades will now be limited to US$1 losses.
In Sep, I will run another analysis of my trading performance. Hope I will draw nearer to my targets by then.
