Stopped out

It sucks when you are stopped out of a trade, and then your counter rebounded. That is what happened to me with Sino. After triggering my stop loss at 4.95, it now rebounded to 5.39. What a waste! It is now time to look at what I did wrong with this trade.

Firstly, my manual exit (on the earlier trade) was a wrong decision. Had I followed my trading plan, I would be still with the position today.

Secondly, my shifting of stops, but not my profit target proved to be an incorrect decision. I should have adjusted my profit target lower.

All in all, it is still my fault to make a premature exit, thus "spoiling" my profits. An important lesson learnt: Never deviate from the plan. Unless I want to defer my retirement plan.

Total Loss: -$400
